That was ridiculously perfect live wow, I'm surprised how much more clean Jake played his solo than Misha did. A band full of absolutely incredible musicians, epic.

Jake's a phenomenal player, 10x the player I can ever hope to be, but sounds a little like a robot. Misha almost sounds like he gets too excited on the other hand lol.

how the heck does this guy do those vocals? First of all its hard enough to hit those notes period, plus hes doing it all live with no breaks, and most of all HES SCREAMING! one scream kills my voice for two days for singing. extremely impressive.

+JonnyWedel i clicked this video thinking the vocals would sound terrible and i came for the solo but i had to go back and watch the whole thing to hear him sing live because i didnt believe what i was hearing. that last belt he does was better than the recording. his technique is perfect in all aspects
@andyyhimself
@andyyhimself 8 жыл бұрын
You're not screaming correctly, you should be able to scream for hours without hurting your voice.

***** fact. anyone who has trouble screaming should research vocal fry. that's how its supposed to be done. look what happened to bmth.

Lets face it, it's the singer that determines if a band is good live and seeing how their singer is Spencer fucking Sotelo, ya they're pretty damn good live!!!
@HugoStiglitz88
@HugoStiglitz88 Жыл бұрын
I disagree. The singer is a part but really it's the rhythm section that's the most important. Because if they suck, it all sucks

Definitely but I'd say it's most noticeable with Jake. He barely even moves anymore lol I also miss Alex Bois. He used to rock out on stage and hype up the whole band. Mrak is better tho ngl

What strikes me most is how all Misha, Jake and Mark are fantastic lead players yet we get to hear them solo so rarely. More of that please, guys - otherwise your band is stellar!

Is it just me or has anyone noticed how Spencer isn't as lively or as enthusiastic as he was a year ago? I know musicians change a little as they grow but none of the other members seem to be any different..Spencer does awesome in this video but if you look at the newer vids, it just isn't the same. Regardless, this is still my favorite band and has been since their first album release as well as their EP's. BTW, in no way am i trying to knock Spencer. I consider him to be one of the BEST metal vocalists out there.. Just a curious observation. Also, before any replies.. i need no schooling in music, touring and performing is something that i've done for the past 10 years. I get how bands function. lol

I kinda agree. But that doesn't stop Matt from serving the same performance or any of the other guys. I've done tours myself as a drummer and I know it can be exhausting but that all went away as soon as I stepped foot on that stage behind the kit. Granted, I've never toured like Periphery does. But at this time, they're not required to do much other than perform.

RF-CHA INS-FR any also i think matt is 2 times busier that the band members since he is also the founder of bandhappy and endorser of lots of brands. He even did a clinic tour with JB and Mike Johnston.
