Spencer's voice is ridiculously amazing, but I think the gripe is that his vocal delivery at times on Juggernaut was a bit too... poppy. Like, he had a few odd inflections that were more reminiscent of Michael Jackson or Justin Timberlake than anything else. Now that P4 is out, that is easily Spencer's voice perfected - gone are those poppy inflections, replaced by raw emotion and perfect delivery on every single syllable.

Finally! A well synced, functional, honest and perfectly edited live video. brad bouton Make Total Destroy's video doesn't really have a narrative though. Juggernaut has a story so a themed video would make sense if done right. As for them getting rid of Spencer, don't count on it. There may be some "fans" who hate him for whatever reason, but it doesn't seem like the band themselves see any issue with their singer. You're right, it's not just a product of Misha, that's the point. They're a band, everyone plays an equal part in the music and that was their goal for this album, which they pulled off flawlessly. Many bands change with their new releases and it doesn't always appeal to everyone. That doesn't mean the band sucks or is getting worse.

People tend to dislike periphery because of spencers vocals. Lets not forget though that periphery is a progressive metal/music band. And progressive means you advocate progress, moving forward, change, experimentation. So all you "progressive" metal fans out there who hate on periphery just admit what you really are, You are just hipsters. You think you are so cool and different because you only listen to music with no cleans and all screams and growls and get no radio play because you like to be different. And then there are the fans who liked p1 but now hate juggernaut and troll all periphery videos and in reality its just because this album has a few songs which are a little more radio friendly yet still very technical, heavy and everything you could want from a metal song but because these songs can appeal to people outside of their little hipster group they say they suck. So in reality i feel as though 50 to 75 % of progressive metal fans actually do the exact opposite and hinder the progress of their music because they are actually just hipsters that listen to heavier music when it comes down to it. Pretty much every succesful metal musicians out there are influenced and listen to music out side of the metal genre, you have to to be creative. Now you have the worst of all the periphery trolls who hate on them and any other band for their clean vocals. Those people only listen to metal with incoherent pig squelling so called vocals in it because subconsciously they feel as though that makes them more of a man then some pussy who listens to amazingly talented clean vocalists like spencer (who also does amazing screams and growls) and From my experience Most of the time these dudes tend to be scrawny little pussies who got bullied in highschool. Metal was born from and started with clean vocals you fucking retards. This is all coming from someone who loves periphery and loves metal/progressive metal but also loves a lot of other genres of music and its safe to say that i fucking hate metal fans with a passion. Fuck all your sub genres and criticizing any music doesnt fit in your little box, cus at the end of the day your just pretentious elitist little hipsters that are everything metal was not supposed to be. Periphery is a fucking amazing band and juggernaut is so progressive,creative and different and just straight up brilliant MUSIC that you hate on it. Just listen to music people stop labelling!
