This guitar tone is my all time favorite ever . from this album. It is the perfect blend of vintage with modern equipment. I remember researching what was used and I still want an 8 string with some nice Bare Knuckle pickups because I love how how much the guitar sounds. like how we envision the heavy low notes sounding in our heads when we want to write low stuff. From the low notes all the way to the pretty parts, this guitar tone is perfectly crunchy and warm and just in the pocket. The tone is a masterpiece to me.

"Bow down to the gods or keep walking further". People are thinking they are christian because of these lyrics. Its saying that you can either succumb to what you think is greater than you (bowing down to the gods) or to consciously evolve (keep walking further) on a spiritual level and to BECOME what people saying is greater than you. If you really want to go into detail. Thats what I think and I believe I am right.

I've been studying a lot of Greek philosophy and always the smartest philosophers, the greatest minds, have been talking about happiness and how that is the ultimate goal of life. Even the word happiness in ancient Greek has the word demon in it, but back then, demon stood for god(also fairies and all other magical creatures). The word happiness may contain "demon" in it, but it also means "coming from inside". Meaning that the power is in you and you have the potential. Then, people who understood that were atheists and people who didn't, had to believe in something greater to give them strength. And all that happened 2,500 years ago. I always wonder why religion still exists today :/

EVERYONE NEEDS TO STOP SAYING THE FOLLOWING THINGS: 1) ***Insert band here*** copied off of Meshuggah 2) Djent (is/isn't) a genre 3) ***Insert singer here*** is gay
@mysterioguerero11 жыл бұрын
By that logic, 'blast beat' should be a genre. djent isn't a genre lol. Listen to Meshuggah, tesseract, intervals, and this bands - and if you say they sound classifiable by the same genre I will seriously be concerned. Meshuggah is thrash/death metal that uses djent, this is metalcore that uses djent, and tesseract is progressive rock that uses djent - those three genres are so massively different - they just put to use similar guitar tones and rhythm concepts. Going back to my blastbeat comment, it is similar as saying "Satyricon, Oceano, Belphegor, and Pig destroyer should be in the same genre because they put to use an extremely recognizable rhythm and playing technique". Just no dude. No.
@AttentionWhoreTroll11 жыл бұрын
