This was fantastic; thank you! My heart breaks whenever I hear songs like the one that starts at 12:06. I don't know who sings it but by searching the lyrics, I found it's called The Parting Glass and is a 'traditional song of farewell from Scotland and Ireland'.

From the description given it's Belfast and Ulster in the late 1930's followed by Scotland, mostly or all in the Highlands and Galloway.
