Erica team made very great instruments, the perkons is super nice to work…to create pattern on the fly, great feature is to have access to all four sequencer rows simultaneously…I love both much machines very much and both together is a force - directly in the front of speakers they sounds so fat - wow;-)! Hd01 i can make dark metal sounds... pulsar is more on the polivoks fat range but for live erica is much dirtier box and faster. Both are unique in their own way. That kick pulsar has with the modulator voices of erica..throw a four mk1 in their middle ...eternal bliss or just take a techno system and call it a day:p

What do you prefer? And why? I'm oriented tu Pulsar for hands on and circuit bending factor. Perkons seems more controllable and "modern".

@@javest thanx for your interest! It depends what kind of music you like to make. Both machines have fat great power and the performance factor are amazing at both devices…pulsar has more influence in experimental music and is patchable and Perkons is great for dance music. Do you have any issues with the clock/midi on the pulsar? Also do you use some type of adapter interface or whatever to convert voltages to the pulsar?

Big ghanx for your interest! No, I‘ve no issues with midi clock of pulsar. In this case I connected the pulsar (midi in) directly with the perkons (midi out) and it works….no additional interface only a midi cable. Hope, I could helped you further. Greetings 🖖☺️

With that money i get a techno system and blows them away x10 times. But is better to have 1 than one:p so yeah i like this combo. I have 2hd01 tho and a t system so i am complete ahaha..tho one question. Regarding p23. How does it feel as a complete standalone for one hour live banging sequences. Will it pull the job or a more classic machine like rytm or tr will be better to find ur way with. Cause its a really interesting machine plus comes with a travel bag:p Thank u Awesome minimal techno jam. Release that! Ill play it in my sets for sure

@@Somnambule awesome. I would love to know! I have a Perkons, and used to have the Pulsar. If the Perkons sequencer works with the Pulsar I might be tempted to pick it up again.

@@McEnroe911 so, I‘ve tried out and yes it works perkons as master and pulsar as slave…you can connect the midi channel via the learn buttons on pulsar. But you shall have a other option for the bass module from pulsar…there are only trigger but no note tune options with the perkons. In this case you need the internal shaos for note playing or a further little sequencer for the bass module. Hope I could help you further. If you have any further questions please let me know;-)🖖

The Pulsar hat and snare channels smash the Pērkons. The lovely kick and bass channels of the Pērkons make lovely additions to the Pulsar. But between the two, Pulsar every time.
