Perks in Fortnite Are Unbelievably Broken (Reality Augments)

Reality Augments are new for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 and are essentially perks from other video games. Some of these are unbelievably powerful, so here I list the worst to the best and how to use each of them.

6:15 the first assault bonus damage is x1.25 by the way for an example, if you have a gold scar that deals 36 damage with this perk it will deal 45 damage

The airealist perk is infinite gliders and it doesn’t add anything to your inventory so it’s very useful right now

2:26 This is actually really useful to give basically free stamina for mantling or hurdling. Its give the effects of a slap juice with just a simple wall mantel or hurdle

A nasty good combo I’ve found is the “Light Fingers” and “Pistol AMP” with the Tactical Pistol. Absolutely SHREDS!

The arrow regeneration perks for bows is so nice in endgame cuz i like using shockwave bow to push people out of the circle but back in ch2s6 i would quickly run out of arrows but now i dont

I actually found this insane strategy with party time, soaring sprints, and aerialist and it can make you be able to actually fly and easily drop down on unsuspecting players and I easily got a win with this.

there's a strat I use for the balloons, If you use the hammer you can boost yourself into the sky really far and make it so if people shoot you down you won't take any fall damage.

i used the perk that regends your energy as you parkour to run out of the safe zone and it was soo useful

More parkour is actually really good, it gives you infinite stamina for roughly 5-7 seconds and can be recharged very easily, makes looting and rotates really good without having to carry slap meds

Pistols are kinda crazy at the moment ngl, 8 body shot kill or a 4 headshot kill with a blue or higher, kinda crazy, plus its got tons of range and fire rate

tac ar is decent since it has a red dot sight, and imo the combat is crazy right now compared to the new shotguns, but that could be because I'm still getting used to the thunder and maven

Two years after this season, I completely forgotten that reality augment was a thing. Although I do really like to see how some of the reality augments have evolved into mid match objectives, so it’s a little more balanced.

In comp players should drop gold when killed to incentivize early/mid game fighting to help eliminate the rng of the perk system.

Personally I would swap storm scout for Storm mark, because every time the storm stops moving or begins to move that's when you emit the ping, for early to mid game its not bad but late game its broken.

Tactical AR + light fingers is one of my favorites to try to get in 1 match. Armorery + Light Fingers + Storm Mark + aerialist/soaring sprints would be good as it gets.

balloons + explosive Bow + bow specialist is OP ambush strat.. 90% of the time people don't realize the arrows are coming from above and by time they do they are almost dead where you can jump down and kill

Youre crazy the sprint/low gravity perk is one of my favorites. If you're in the top three then the bigger jumps help a ton!!! Also you sprint and jump off a high spot and you take no damage when you hit. So you can get away from a fight to safety so fucking easily

The “more parcours” augment is good if you have a far zone. I have used this ingame already and if you have a far zone, you can unlimited sprint. Sprint, build a wall, climb, sprint again. Also if you dont want to use the shock wave hammer, you can use this to get around the map faster and search for fights.

The only one I see that will give you an absolute advantage is the airealist perk. I guess the storm one too if you're playing comp. I wish they added more goofy/fun perks though. The balloon one is straight ass.

Party time is insanely op. If you get a shockwave hammer, you can equip balloons and bounce with the hammer and stay in the sky pretty much forever.

Why is no one talking about the fact there’s litterally not enough buttons on controller anymore? I can’t emote anymore because I have to make room for perks. Edit: I now have my keyboard next to me while I’m playing so I have to tap 7 on it to activate a perk. Luckily, I’m fortunate enough to have a keyboard but I know a lot of ppl who don’t. This is a big problem that needs to be addressed.

Perks can be balanced in comp by removing reroll, then everybody in comp gets the same "choice" between the perks. Games will still play out very differently overall, and perks will be fun but there's no RNG of getting bad perks vs good perks.

I think the description of More Parkour is a little misleading, from my experience you simply mantle / hurdle, and your stamina bar doesn’t go down for a while, like you used a slap juice but a little shorter

Dude Idk y you ranked the combat shotgun & smg so low. I got it earlier and while that machine gun only shoots small ammo its basically like the mk7 from 3.1. So you are the only one who has the red reticle & fully auto machine gun. Cool pass them up that means I'll be the only one running around with one.

Random broken perks that make who wins completely random. I can literally die from fall damage while I can meet people who simply can't because they have a random stupid ass perk. But obviously, Brutes are brokennnnnn vault them!!!!!! They are even able to actually kill someone!!!! But perks are extremely balanced, and that's why nobody complains about them, we love themmmmmm!!!!!!
