I have the base model so barring the speed, i feel like the infotainment system is not great. and the fact the stering wheel doesnt have music track change on apple carplay is insane. if there wasnt a porsche badge, it would be tough sell

Nice review Jay, I like the dash being analog for the most parts. Love the knobs for headlights and every single hard buttons around the gear shifter. Porsche really knows how NOT to cut back on hard buttons. Thank you Porsche, new Hondas can learn couple of things from Porsche. That is actually pretty impressive gas mileage for the amount power it produces.

Thanks for the kind words! Porsche is moving to haptic glass to replace the hard touch center buttons…not a big fan of that.

this 2021 hard buttons will be changed at next 2022 like other models ..

@@Jinjee_YamYam I think this gen Macan is near the end of production and they did a facelift just a couple of years ago, not likely they will do another one. Porsche usually only do one facelift per gen. So the buttons will be gone the next gen.

Good information. Thank you. How did you get the tach only in red? In my 2021 Turbo, my sport chrono, tach and speedometer are all white. I thought it was all dials or none with contrast coloring

It entirely depends on what you want and need from a vehicle. For me, I’d go GTS for my personal reasons.

Porsche doesn't stand behind the quality of their vehicles. The transfer case on 2015 Macan S has failed twice now in only 27,000 miles. This is a known issue which caused Porsche to extend their warranty to 7 ys. Their "improved" transfer case lasted only 2 years 2 months and 9,000 miles. I am out of warranty by 6 weeks and Porsche turns their back on problem and sticks me for $3,200 repair. Don't buy a Porsche w/o extended warranty for entire length of time you expect to own it. #1 rated warranty company - Endurance - won't even sell coverage on Macan. That should tell Porsche and all potential buyers something. Customer experience is far from an expected premium car brand experience.
