Usually the way it works is that the best songwriters don't have that good a voice. It's gotten better with time though. The lyrics make up for it

I like Max in pretty much every thing he does. I sincerly do. I like this. But I can understand why many people don't like it. The audio mixing is off. His voice is louder and does drown hers out. However in their newer album this is fixed and then suddenly they compliment each other perfectly.

Her voice is small and sweet, but his voice is naturally very dominant, so because of that, it makes it feel like a 70/30 project, in favor of Max.

If you just want to hear Sherri's voice, go listen to Eisley songs where she leads or her solo recordings. If you just want to hear Max, listen to Say Anything or The Painful Splits. Don't comment on Perma videos saying how you don't like one of them. That would be stupid, given the whole point of Perma is that they're singing together.

His voice is so overbearing. He sucks. He doesn't compliment her voice at all....just drowns it out.
