Hello from FL. This is beautiful to watch. It’s amazing how much can be done in a small space, beautiful and fruitful. I will get my permaculture backyard garden planting on Monday. I live in an HOA. I was so happy to see my proposal approved. I’m learning a lot, since I’m a beginner. I have a large yard, but I need to keep it beautiful, so the HOA will not have an issue. I like to see my neighbors hopefully do he same, have an edible garden.

Absolutely amazing! Could you maybe make a video on how to prune each type of tree? I have a border which I was planning on planting with semi dwarf trees at the back, berries bushes in between and step over at the front but what freaks me out is prunning...

Very inspiring - especially liked the 'Frankenstein's monster' tree at the end!!! My apple tree will be in either a small semi circular raised bed or a very large pot/container. I had thought I was doomed to choosing only one variety (how on earth is that possible?) but now I'm thinking I could have 2 or 3 !!

Very beautiful orchard! But what about the dwarfing effect of planting in containers? Do you really need a dwarfing rootstock if you plant in a container? I guess tree seeds people use to make bonsaî trees are just regular seeds from trees that would grow tall if grown in soil..?

The "step-over" method would use up more vice less space. Most people lack square footage, not space going upward. Would recommend columnar varieties for apples and pears. Vertical growing is where it's at these days for space constrained growers. Also consider growing fruit trees in containers. It is much easier to regulate size of trees this way compared to in-ground.

The grafting blew my mind! Soo many varieties on one tree! Genius! I have space sir but gravel down so looking for container fruit trees. And I found dwarf variety on jparker but the tree will grow to 200cm and spread is 150cm...so I'm very confused. But I'm assuming with pruning and guiding the tree I can keep the spread less and the height too?
