Permanent commission Vs Short Service commission | Can SSC be converted to PC ? I Which is Better ?

The chances of conversion to PC are 1 in 10, For IAF. and a lot depends on your luck. As SSC you will not be entitled for Pension, NPS, or employers contribution in PF. When you are released they will take upto 1 year to give your release funds. You can go from office to office. So, better avoid this. Where your prime career building time will be gone. And then there is no hand holding outside. The worst thing will be the step motherly treatment you will receive when inside.

No i don’t think so they are allowed to pursuer some big degrees like mbbs since practicing and learning mbbs is a huge task alone so it would give no time for the officers to do their duty.😅

@@reenasahrawat8298 Conversion rate is lesser than agniveers, no pension, no nps, no career support. Thrown out at 40 without any medical or health benefits. The skill set acquired will not be of any use.

@@reenasahrawat8298 but then again it will cost around 20-25 L, and you will be without work for 1-1.5 yr ( loss of 15-20 L) , and uncertainty of future, when you will have old parents, wife and children also. Though I am all in for patriotism but it should be from both sides ( government also).
