Hey beautiful! Just a quick loc tip, oil is not a moisturizer! Water is, what the oil does is hold the moisture from the water in your locs. Oil after you’ve dried your hair unfortunately won’t moisturize your locs. Hope this was helpful, be blessed!

I have locs that were started by lice extensions and using the wrap method. You created one of the very few videos out there about how to maintain theses type of locs. Thank you so much!!!! I don’t know if I started using the wrong products or was washing the wrong way but I have a TON of buildup. It looks white from afar and when separated it looks filled with dandruff and oils. Any suggestions on deep cleaning or scrubbing to get the product fully out? I use acv and water in a spray bottle but there is still buildup leftover when I retwist every time.

Sleepy Sleep I eventually took mine out. I had them for 8 months. It took me a week to take them down but I eventually did. My hair is longer now but with a bit more breakage due to detangling. If U watch Damian Walter he has good info about it. I was not going to a stylist to retwist. I did it myself, which was the issue. I used too much product. I love your locs been following your channel for awhile and I was wondering can you send us a video of how your extensions were started I have locs as well as I had loc extensions as well but I cut them 6 month's ago but would love to redo them. How long did you wait to wash your hair after you installed your extensions

It's been a few years, so I dont remember exactly.... but it was either 2 or 3 weeks before my first wash.

I have a "brick" pattern and about 123 locs.

Thanks! I had 123 installed, but merged 2 locs early on, so it's been 122 ever since.

so how do you retwist permanent extension locs??

Same way you'd retwist natural locs because the part you'd retwist is your natural hair. I prefer palm rolling, I haven't ventured off into interlocking yet.

From the root, no, I never lost any locs. But sometimes some of the extension hair would unravel and slip out on the bottoms, especially when I started to cut away the extensions.
