I can never shut out God's voice. There was a time when all I could do was complain and yell at God. Like Jonah I disobeyed and refused to go where God told me to go because people at church hurt me. I didn't want to hear his voice but I could never shut out his voice. His voice never faded. I tried to ignore him but there was never anything I could do to quiet or silence his voice. And yes I am totally real with God. He is the love of my life, my best friend and my closest companion. Without him I am nothing. He is the only one who truly loves me.
