The correct answer is 1405 for those who are getting 1255, you will need to create a new case 5 -> 2 alike of 1st kind and 4 alike of 2nd kind. You probably used 5C2 in Case 2 rather than 5C1 x 4C1 (that is also correct) which then did not do the double counting for the case where the 1st selected no. can be used for 2 alike and the 2nd no. for 4 alike

Case - 2 Solution- Let 1111, 22, 3, 4, 5 =5 total, so Given Case is 4 alike & 2 alike if we select 1111(4 alike)= 5C1 then remaining 22,3,4,5= total 4 Now again we have to select 2 ALike so 4C1 therefore Selectio is 5C1 X 4C1= 20 and arragement is 5C1 X 4C 1 X 6!/4!21 = 300 then Adding all those remaining value you will get 1405 answer
