My dad was one of people who helped pay for the perot museum to be built. His name wont be listed under on the wall though there. But he knows and does alot of work with the Perot family. He buys lots for his company to build houses and buildings on.

Im disappointed in the Perot Museum,,,,it trys to be to cute with displays you got to push buttons to view ,,,,,too many Germs out there to have to touch surfaces in that place,,,,its a giant petrie dish of Covid Germs,,,,I prefer a conventional museum.
@LittlezombieRocker3 жыл бұрын
@@davidarthur7721 I agree that they need to work on limiting how much you can touch and interact with what with the covid germs yes, however I am sure they take the time to sanitize everything down afterwards. The Perot may not be the best museum either. Heck I miss the days back when their was the Science Place back in Fair Park. So far what I dislike about the Perot is that you pay so much money for an exhibit that is short. I've only been to maybe 2 that I really enjoyed. My favorite was the Sherlock Holmes exhibit because they had it look like old-time London and you could actually go around trying to solve a murder mystery.

And be aware that yesterday a basketball player that never gave a cent wants changes to the museum be he believes " is not inclusive, dont cater to poor children, diverse population ". That it dosent cater to them that feel threatened by the building and exhibits

I've been there before. Back then when I was a kid, it was located in Fair Park and I always called it, the Science Place. But the last time I went there with my boyfriend, I found out that there were a few things out while the rest are packed to move there. It broke my heart to see that it's moving to a new location.

Yesterday a basketball player that never gave a cent to this museum wants to change to be " more inclusive to cater to other races, poor people that feel threatened by the building and exhibits" What he wants? Rappers? BLM speaches, he/she/it used ? Gay flags? It is a science museum for Gods sake, children from all neighborhoods are taken by their schools. It is only some parents fault that never take them to libraries, free museums, but make sure to take them to Malls. Why ruin what has worked beautifully? No child is forbidden to enter. It is open to all, Was funded by the Perot family to make science available to all children. Now this basketball player retires and want to ruin a good thing. Is he a curator? A degree in science? Museums managing experience? No it is a foreign player in a mix marriage that wants to to ruin this wonderful museum, and who will dare complain?
