I agree. Singing is NOT just about hitting those high notes. I mean most people think singers like Whitney , celine are untouchable when it comes to singing because they can sing those high notes, (yes they are indeed great singers) But my point is, there are also those other singers who don't sing those high notes songs like Shania or Alison Krauss , who are really incredible singers but they don't get the credit they much deserve Because many people think that good singing is all about hitting high notes. 😑

Hey yeah you're right. I didn't even notice that first time because I had my eyes closed to enjoy the music. But now I see that the band is actually 'Union Station', which is the band that has backed Alison for ever! Beautiful 💚

As soon as they began the song I went...wait a minute...that’s Allison Krauss and Union Station! But no recognition of it in the video title or notes. What the heck? But great song, great arrangement, and thanks for sharing it!

Found this rendition of ST's 'From this moment' just now ... about 15 years too late!... I love the 'back to tradition' approach it is getting here, expertly provided by, amongst others, the boys and girl of AKUS, one of my enduring favourites. What a treat! Like for so many others, judging from the comments this YT video has received, this and other ST songs from this period formed the backdrop to our romance, engagement and wedding. Like ST, my wife and I -as a married couple- are still going strong! Thanks for the trip down memory lane 😊
