I see people saying that they'd prefer to hear this at a faster speed. As fun as that may be, the piece just feels rushed, and to me, I feel like you can't capture this intense, paranoid or possibly grieving emotion that Brian Holmes is painting. It's a piece in which I always feel like I just can't stop thinking of the ones I love. Then the conclusion on the last line is just heartbreaking, like as if you decided to close a door from your past. A lot of people like it faster, and my orchestra friends say this song stinks. Say what you will, this piece is emotionally petrifying!

we could've done that...however, in the concert, when the symphonic orchestra from Borah High School, was getting ready to play that, the 1st violins were a little off from the violas, they were playing a little too fast for the 1sts'. But we all got sorted out after a few measures, and we sounded so good, I think it made the other orchestras from the other high schools jealous by how fast WE were playing. And the next day we got our scores...
@bettyoster69164 жыл бұрын
@@BBL.Soldier ...and the scores ranked from 1 meaning best played so far to 4: not so good. Last year when I was a sophomore, our orchestra got a 3, not for our playing but for our actions toward hearing the other orchestras play. But this year, we got a 1!
