Her voice has changed a bit since her tonsils were removed... It used to be a lot more deep and low and tbh I miss her old voice bc it was even more powerful, but it's still got that unique thing.

I can't decide whether i liked the old voice or this new voice better. I mean her tonsils were removed and it changed her voice really much, like it used to sound like there was this bubble inside her throat but it sounded so good. But she still sounds so good like god i can't decide. i love her

I think her tone was way more unique before, her heaviness is what made her shines (beside being an overall better technical singer). After the surgery her voice became more bright and it made easier for her to hit high notes. The bad part is that she tries to make her voice sound deep as before by lowering her larynx (like at 3:42) which is not healthy for her vocal chords. Still her voice is beautiful, both then and before.

In that video, the audio was reedited for some reason. like their whole set for that event was reedited because of some audio issue so perrie's voice sounds deeper than usual in this.

Her voice is more open now, I know that's due to her tonsils getting removed, but I feel like it lets her hold high notes longer and they sound a little clearer. She's able to control when she wants her voice to be more closed off vs open, you can here in performances she goes back and forth a bit, but it sounds amazing.

Perrie still retains a very pleasant and special voice . What I noticed is that in 2012/2013 her voice had a sound more closed and 2013 until now, he has a more open aspect , a consequence of surgery. Both ways , Perrie maintains a single voice and it will be for a long time.

Idk why people are hating on he new voice. It's much more healthy now. The (BIG) difference is like power but that's because she has a better technique. Her head voice was more powerful and more ease with tonsils, that I can't explain. Her tone, it's better now because it's less raspy and has much clarity.
