@@abnNutsack82 What is your topic(s) for your lyrics?
@abnNutsack8211 ай бұрын
Hmmm ancestry history. Unity I could go on for days. Honestly man, it just all depends on how I develop a flow because I have to hear the beat fully a few times develop a flow and then after I develop my flow I can develop the topics and what I want to write lyrics on and then go from there to create a new song. Normally what I do is I develop the flow and I think of words that come to mind based upon the topics that I want to talk about and then I put those together and make bars

@@PerriYellowBird Now I'm not going to sit here and say that I'm full native American. I have a very small percentage of Sioux Indian. I don't know much. All I know is my ancestor who was Irish adopted my ancestor who was Sue Indian but outside of that I don't know much. So again, let me reiterate, I I'm not a full blood native American

Theres alot of us though too few to make a Change if it has taken us centuries to rebuild our philosophy and traditions again then it'll take another couple centuries to reach the masses of our suffering and i dont speak for all natives or rez's but i grew up on one here in nc and we were treated like dirt even by our brothers and sisters who made it out of our ghetto we were looked down apon and spit on but now im moving to the Ozarks and starting to make music just like the young man who made this beat im 19 but with the way I've been treated it feels like im 30 i make songs about how we were treated and how we still are the water me and my 13 siblings had to drink literally made us ill the food we had in the house spoiled because we couldnt keep the lights on our mother was a druggie junkie whore and our dad ge was an abusive molestive pathetic drunk hes in jail mom is who knows where getting high while me and my siblings are split up taken away from each other. That was my life on the rez

Not a Native American but I'm Mexican with Aztec blood and I have respect for Native Americans and your music love the beat.
@moonwalker_8189 жыл бұрын
If your mexican you're Native American don't let a European border fool you........all tribes prior to European colonization are Amerindian or aboriginal.......Aztec,Apache,Navajo,Chumash and ect.......remember Mexico is 60% mixed,30% full blooded indigenous,and 10% full blooded Spanish.so there's a high chance you are of indigenous ancestry......and don't let the sell-out natives tell you well you have to be enrolled and live at the reservation its a load of bs.I'm Apache and Mexican.

***** Thanks for saying this, I am also Mexican American and reading your comment reassures my journey to keep learning about my Indigenous roots and engage myself more for the Native American efforts of decolonizing in the USA

Native American means any natives from Alaska To argentina. Everyone before the Europeans came
@akalew46947 жыл бұрын
There's a documentary somewhere that interviews Hopi elders. Their understanding is that they are direct descendants of the Maya. I look just about as European as a person can, but the little bit of Native American blood coursing through my veins feels truer than the rest of it. I can't explain it. But listening to songs like this feels like coming home to me. In the grand scheme of things, we are but one race, one species, one expression of whatever ultimate force there is. I have no name for it. Some call it God, some call it Spirit. Some of us just feel it with no words to do it justice. Peace.
