I love Voice of the Martyrs ministry. I will pray for this ministry and those who are ministered to by them. I can't imagine how terrible the persecution is for these people. But God reminds me he is still with all of us, even in our suffering. Im praying. Something that really bothers me deeply is that the women in Isra'el who were raped that the docters and nurses have stepped and are offering abortions to the rape victims as a way to deal with the trauma of rape when we all know that will just cause more pain. Im praying God changes those ladies hearts. Because although they couldnt help the father who gave the eggs life those egss are still theirs. Its just sad. I know abortion is not the answer. Many have not been or see war, trauma, ptsd, etc & will not be able to process or strategically pray. Can you formulate a prayer for the persecuted christian, their need & requirement; mental health; how to process & heal trauma & ptsd; say & do the right thing when ministering or when we meet ppl like that; Immediate, medium & long term help; help for aftercare & caregiver support. Without knowledge, wisdom & understanding we can do so little but only to pray for protection. Can you provide a step by step help in your blog & website + what happen when internet is no longer available in 2025.

Why are you pursuing psychological solutions to a spiritual problem, a spirit of fear. You need to read Psychoheresy by Dave Hunt. The Bible is either sufficient for counseling or it isn't.

We’ll…we’re not only spirit, at least this side of heaven, there are numerous scriptures that separate ‘hearts AND minds’, ‘heart, soul, MIND and strength’…it goes on and on…I am with you that we COULD slip into an over emphasis of worldly type ‘therapy’ or ‘psychology’ but we ALSO can over emphasize ‘it’s all a spiritual battle’, assuming the solution is to over emphasize in the other direction. Phil 4:6-7 ‘Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts AND MINDS through Christ Jesus’ (emphasis mine). It’s not either…it’s both and. Blessings.

The Bible is sufficient for our faith, but not necessarily for dealing with thorny secular issues. The Bible is a compass to salvation, not a rule book for every issue of every minute of your life. That is the Muslim view of the Qur'an, a book they literally worship. Christians do NOT worship the Bible.

@@mysotiras21 Of course it is. No, of course we are not going to find a specific, "Thou shalt/shalt not", for every individual situation in every individual person's life. Of course not. There is no book possible that could hold that much information! But it has to give us principles, examples, etc. that we can then use our brains to apply to our lives. How else do we think the Bible has endured through the ages, all over the world, for people from every culture and language and situation? What good is the Bible if it doesn't help us in our daily lives?

@@Yesica1993 , in the words of Galileo: "the scriptures tell us how to go to heaven, not how the heavens go!" The purpose of the Bible is THEOLOGICAL. Jesus gave us everything we need on that score in the New Covenant. We are to love God above all and love our neighbors as ourselves. He even said that this is the whole of the law and the prophets. When it comes to our daily lives, however, we have perfect FREEDOM, so long as we don't violate the terms of the New Covenant, or lead others astray by our actions. JESUS is the Author and Finisher of our faith, NOT every jot and tittle in the Bible.
