I haven’t read any Persephone classics but I always enjoy hearing your reviews. If I am ever back in London, I want to check out the shop.

Hi Lil. I’m intrigued by the last book you mentioned. I have read just a few Persephone books. One I would recommend is Good Evening Mrs Craven: The Wartime Stories of Mollie Panter-Downes.

I think I own that one, I just haven't got around to picking it up yet

I loved The Fortnight in September by RC Sherriff - it's about a family holiday and is funny and charming.

Hi Lil! Greenery Street sounds good, so I'll put that on my list. Love Persephone -I've just bought Harriet by Elizabeth Jenkins and I'm looking forward to getting into it, although I believe the subject matter is a bit grim and based on a real life incident.

I have heard about that one but I think it is a bit of a sad read :( I hope you enjoy it though as I am sure it is beautifully told

Hi, have you read any of Tracy Borman’s books? I came across her recent book, sounds quite interesting. Would love your thoughts on any of her books 😊

Yes I have, there is actually a review of one of her books on my channel if you would like to give it a watch.
