Three things: You should really learn about how radar modes work. Calling ACM mode unreliable while being in the wrong acquisiton mode is a bit unprofessional in my opinion. Also please assign buttons to the switch target and the switch radar mode otherwise you are never going to be fast enough in combat. Also you could have shrank the TWS acquisiton down to 1bar and 30 degrees, and just put your nose on that mirage that you could not lock. (the one you locked the harrier instead of) Great vid btw i enjoyed!

You said you didnt know the pitbull range of the Fakour. The way to tell a FOX-3 has gone pitbull is to look at the ring around the targets you launched at on the radar. When the ring disappears that means its gone pitbull

Awesome video can’t wait to use the f14 tomorrow gonna be awesome. Second you know there is a rectangular radar option it makes your radar slightly larger and helps you to process the information. Third when a active radar homing missile like the aim 54 or the fakour 90 go active, on you radar in tws mode, there will be your target/s as a dot, when launched a missile to them, there will be a circle around that dot and when it disappears and a little line appears above the dot on your radar that’s when the missile has gone active. I my self only figured this out recently with my su27. Awesome video, gonna sub too 👍👍👍

If you try to lock a Target from behind don`t use the HDN mode of the Radar, its just for Head ons

Thanj yoh for the video, but not having radar controls binded to some keys gives me physical pain even through this video. Having keybinds for switching targets, radar modes and radar scan zone is a must-have for a jet like f14

I was planning on buying the 8 tasks with ge as I already have 5,700 ge from previous packs and I would just have to buy the 2,500 ge for 16.5 eur for the F-14 because I didn't have time to grind for the event (and I'm bad at grinding air events) but now I'm having doubts on how worth it it is. I just thought it might help me grind US tree since I haven't started US yet. Should I just save my ge until some sale comes around or nah?

This is not a premium vehicle so you'll have a research penalty on rank I - VI vehicles, so I wouldn't recommend this plane if you're getting it to grind the tech tree.

@@ichosolemanuel6048 I think youtubers with test drive privileges don't even need to request event vehicles, they just get a test drive one day before everyone else, so they can make a video on it. Just guessing though, because I've seen at least 2 youtubers receive the F-14 suddenly during their other recent videos.
