Regarding 4:47 - I think AoE2 might be bigger than Starcraft now. Blizzard ran Starcraft 2 into the ground these past four years, and Brood War is only popular in Korea. Meanwhile the Age series is still getting Microsoft support.

I wish BW was popular. It has so much higher potential than aoe2 in terms of skill ceiling. The ladder is so awful now. Can only hope the MS/Activision merger revitalizes Blizzard IP's and we get a BW re-re-master or SC3.

I think its still bigger but aoe2 just has a very healthy and dedicated player base and kept things stable, even growing a lil while SC2 more stagnated and the player base shrank... If that makes sense
