I just love how paternal John is with Leila and I love how her hands are so small compared to John's huge hands, well after all she is a baby but still its so cute. And I loved it when Leila's hand was on his shoulder, barely gripping it because her hand was so small. I also loved it when John kept on saying "Cry'' because he's like so soft spoken and that little kiss he gave her.... so adorable. And I love Jim's hands.

In other words, he's one of those who wants to impose his Bronze age mythology on everyone else, because some other lunatic told him that there was a magical, mystical, invisible man in the sky who loves everyone and will only torture for all eternity those who don't obey him perfectly. Too bad they haven't done enough research into their book of sheepherder myths to know that the men who wrote it all made the claim that their "god" said itself that life begins at first breath, not at conception. It's there. Life begins with the first breath ‒ Genesis 2:7 Fetuses are not persons ‒ Exodus 21:22‒25 Fetuses should be aborted as proof of adultery ‒ Numbers 5:11‒31 Life is not sacred ‒ Deuteronomy 28:18‒24 The breath of god is that which gives life. ‒ Job 33:4 All of those hypocritical #religitards claiming that “god knew us in the womb” are making things up to suit their Bronze age agenda of controlling the very thing that makes women who they are. It isn’t about “protecting children” at all. It’s about controlling women. Plain and simple. In their very own book. Whether you, or they, like it or not. They’re all intellectually dishonest, and are nothing more than bullies. Their “god” is a murderer, rapist, sexual abuser, thief, and slaver. It’s all there, and I bet none of them ever read any of it. If you need a fictional character who lives in the sky and has magical powers to have any morals, ethics, or values, you don’t have any of those things in the first place. Q.E.D.

@@lancer525 I looked up the verses you cited. Most don't say what you claim. There are many other verses making contrary statements. And there is nothing I know of to suggest that John and his wife force women to bear children against the mother's will; they just help provide other options. But none of this has anything to do with the show, so I'll move on.

Something awesome is I actually had an opportunity to talk with the guy that plays Elias, Enrico Colantoni, and asked him about this scene -- "would Elias have actually let John and Leila freeze if John didn't tell him where Moretti was?" And his response was the best -- "Never in a million years." Not a moment of hesitation or even needing to consider his answer.

@@MnMJax Interestingly, when it came to Baby Leila, John could NOT risk it. Even though his instincts were that Elias would never directly harm a child, John simply could NOT risk the chance, not for the life of a SOB retired mobster.
