What I love here is that Hersh actually respects Special Counsel here and gives him a moment to have some last words before shooting him.

The thing I loved about the villains of this series is that nearly every one of them so believes in what they're doing that they'd die for it. And that includes being sacrificed for it.

Not heroes or villains just shades of Grey working for ideology rather than personal goals, money, revenge, malice
@jreese74362 жыл бұрын
IIRC Hersh goes out trying to disarm a courthouse that's rigged to explode. Maybe Dominic was truly a villain, but he was a rarity. Most of the arc villains were very gray.

Moreover. The Councel has ordered Hersh to kill Shaw, and now he's killed by Hersh. Hersh has blown Nathan up, and later he's killed by explosion. They carefully link all this stuff.

It's like he just processes and accepts his fate in that one moment. What a beast.

It’s up there-but I’d say that Finch’s explanation of pi and its possibilities is the one I go to-even have it recorded on my music player as a track!

"Fair enough." YES. But really, Control, could you be more stupid here? You just had your man kill off the one person who SAW and could provide information about where the Machine had disappeared to. AND a perfectly capable operator who was just doing his job. If you didn't trust the other operative, why did you send him there in the first place?
@michaelsurprenant48625 жыл бұрын
He wasn't told where it was being moved, only to move it one node at a time. The machine was able to impersonate special counsel and trick the caretaker into moving the machine, in order to protect itself from being tampered with by Decima.
@vaibhavbarak5025 жыл бұрын
I think the point of it was their entire job rested on the monitoring the machine. With the machine gone and no way to find the servers, they're just people with knowledge of its existence and no purpose, hence they can't be left alive. For the boss guy he had made a lot of errors up to that point.
@dmi61013 жыл бұрын
@@vaibhavbarak502 Yeah, exactly. Person of Interest took pains to demonstrate the lengths to which the government would go to keep The Machine secret. It was a direct plot point at least 4 times
@ShaggyRogers12 жыл бұрын
@@dmi6101 Yep. The people in the room now had knowledge of the machine, but were no longer helpful in finding where it was. At that point they were a liability if anyone else could make them divulge what they did know. The machine being loose in the wild was something that they didn't want slip, because it would mean that not only existence of the machine then be known but also that it was in the wild ripe for anyone to get their hands on.

Why is the Asian guy just standing there like a statue before he gets shot? It looks like an inactive GPC getting killed in a video game.

Hey Mj Kennedy, I would be mighty kind of you, if you could upload the ending scene of the episode that aired yesterday, "Reasonable doubt" Where Reese Puts the gun on the table to even the duel and walks out like a fucking boss. That was one of the best endings of the series and you just HAVE to upload it. Thanks so much !
