Badass! Strong, smart, breaking the glass ceiling. You go girl!! You're the first but you won't be the last! I watched the grueling confirmation hearings you endured, sometimes with tears in your eyes. I watched it all and I was so proud of you! Thanks for LEADING the way and letting our girls see what is possible! 💯💯💯💯.

Kudos to President Biden for nominating such a brilliant, talented and ethical individual to the highest court in the land. Her integrity is much needed there, particularly at this moment in history. One of the reasons I was so enthusiastic about my vote for Biden in 2020 was his commitment to nominate a black woman to the Court; it was long past time to do so. Justice Jackson is more than capable of filling Justice Breyer’s shoes for decades to come. Can’t wait to read her new memoir.

@@allenmoss9111the female senator who asked that asinine question doesn't know what a woman is. Justice Jackson response was she is a lawyer not a scientist. So she could not answer that question the way the senator wanted her to respond.

I have watched every one of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson's interviews of late, since her book came out. She is wonderful, yet each interview has covered similar ground, until this interview with Norah O'Donnell, which, if familiar here and there, has managed to feel fresher, warmer and more unique, which is richly deserved by its subject. I'm aware the object is to sell books, but kudos to Ms. O'Donnell, and of course, to the remarkable Kentanji Brown Jackson-and to Patrick Jackson. Thank you.

Its dazzling to listen to the honourable Brown-Jackson. For me, i think it is because she describes little ordinary American life moments, creating extraordinary results. If that makes sense.

Most African-Americans do not have roots in east Africa though. So I wonder why she went there. Our roots are in Nigeria, Benin, Ivory Coast. On the west coast...where we were " taken away" to America.
@Jake-nk4wg2 ай бұрын
@@yvonneplant9434 Because her roots are there??? I'm also of Kenyan descent including those you listed above. It is indeed fact we were mainly stolen from West African countries but also from other countries in Africa. You do know these countries traded (and warred) with each other and obviously were attracted and married. Same thing happened in Europe, Asia, etc. why not the continent of Africa (2nd largest in the world)?

Justice Thomas - just sad. "The front of the Supreme Court, it says 'Equal Justice Under Law" - except for Trump. Man is she cool, and what an outstanding example of how to have different views, a high moral and ethical compass, how to express those different views respectfully, full and complete without it coming from a lower nature or expressed from a place of vengeance. A class act! Wish all SC justices held themselves to an equal standard and took to heart the signage on the front of their building. And regarding "how the criminal justice system works", 6 of the justices failed that class. Her comment here as to why she dissented on the immunity ruling is so logical; in everything legally established in this country that it may be abundantly clear that we absolutely departed from ruler by king authority at the cost of thousands of American lives who fought and died that this be so, again just sad to have a SC majority that is working to re-establish what we fought so hard to leave behind in the establishment of these United States.
