@infinityofgenesis Early game, fusion attacks are a GODLY source of damage. Late-game with your ultimate Personas, you deal more damage with two characters attacking with their ultimate skills rather than waste five turns to do one large chunk of damage

Looks like hell to me. Not only that, but the absolute maximum HP people can get in these games is 999. I can only imagine the amount of grinding these games require to get 100% completion.

The final dungeon is called Xibalba but the very final area is The Collective Unconscious and the music that plays is "Kashihara" as in Jun's Father

Different is not bad. That game is awesome. I was just disapointed by 4 and how it removed some of the life-simulation aspects (like the physical health, for example) and the party-members in dungeons just being for aesthetic, and not playing a role - just following you around and getting stuck on walls.

@FenrirWeapon I see, so they serve much more of an early game purpose and endgame. That makes sense considering the amount of time it takes to use them. I can see why you didn't use them. Thank you for the info.

Ah, good, so it's not just me. That's pretty much what I did, save for a few lvl. 5-25 Personas early on. Once I got the Prime Personas and Ult. Personas, I stopped switching at all. Still a great game though.

@FenrirWeapon in my understanding, they powered them up in part 2 so instead of grand cross doing 500 something, it's replacement, Dragon Cross, does about 1500-2000. am i right?

@FenrirWeapon Oh boy, it's BRILLIANT. You puzzles are amazing, though it's not very Persona like. However, you can collect Persona-like creatures called "spirits".

I know that. If I didn't know that, why would I prefer 2 over 3 and 4, if it's much more similiar to the other games? Besides, the spirits down't really participate physically in combat. They contribute to stats and skills and stuff, if I can remember right (which I probably can't).

I keep hearing that this game is supposedly very hard. Is everyone just playing on hard mode? Or did they lower the difficulty for PSP version? I thought this game was ridiculously easy. I only died once, and that was because of Hama skills screwing over my party.

@Thepokemonabides A GBA cartridge would not be able to hold this game. Also GBA is dead and there's a PSP remake of this game that recently was released. I think Golden Sun is a good Persona-like RPG for the GBA. I never played it though

@LALILULELOLA Fusion attacks are not very SP efficient. Single character attacks way outdamage using all five characters' turns for one attack than does maybe 200 damage extra. Also, a noob wouldn't be able to get this far in the game so your claim towards me being a noob is invalid. Also your English sucks.
