This gives me the vibes of, “What did I do to deserve this? Why me?” I hope new persona games can make the games more bittersweet or have bigger consequences.

@Bread Sticks Well I mean, despite it being more light hearted than the rest of the games, the premise is dark in and of itself, they are literally chasing a rampant serial killer and there are people that are killed because of it

thats because Persona 1 and 2 and shoved in with the SMT series, since 3-5 are their own standalone series.

@Bread Sticks P4 and P3 dropped it with the P3P (it has the SMT name in the North American version for some reason) and P4G as P4 (not Golden) carried the series into a more mainstream tone and Persona 5 became pretty much one of the top 5 most popular JRPG of all time so they didn't need to act like a spin off of the Megami Tensei franchise anymore which was more popular at the time they added SMT to the names

This song perfectly encapsulates everything I love about the original games. hauntingly so. The persona 2 duollgy is as far as I'm concerned the most emotionally resonant gaming experience I've ever had and can safely say that it is my favourite game(s) of all time.

It’s hard for me to grasp that this is in the same universe as Persona 4 and 5. The difference in style and tone is so vast, you’d almost think they were different franchises entirely. The background, the music, the tone-everything. Makes you wonder what happened after 3.

I think Persona 2 : innocent sin's universe is not the same as P4 and P5 universe since the former has been destroyed by xibalba. In my opinion, P4 and P5 have the same universe as P2 : eternal punishment. (sorry fo my bad English)

How could I describe this theme? It feels like being in a hospital, within outpatient services for mental health... Alone and uncertain of what the future may hold. Yes, there may be healing, but there are so many factors ahead that only you can make into positives.

Rando Coming from a music composer P3 ties with P4 for my favorite soundtrack. So much of P5’s soundtrack sounds awesome at first listen then it all blends together. P3 is when Meguro still blended his SMT style of writing with a more Persona-like soundtrack. Really good stuff. And P4’s soundtrack is when Persona soundtracks really became their own style. Don’t really know how the P4 OST sounds all the same to you. Thanks for coming to my ted talk lol
