Akihiko in boss matches be like: -Gets prepared -Does good attacks -Badly tanks a hit from the boss -Gets disabled because the boss likes him -Dies -Gets revived -Dies again -Revive him -Boss goes to MC -Akihiko hits critical -_Dies again_ -Gets revived and get a status condition -Almost dies -Does the final blow -Doesn’t elaborate

My first playthrough I actually defeated him using his own anti-cheese. So I had mediarahan and realized my entire party could tank one hit from the guy. I used a mirror to force him to do his megalodian thing and just full healed my entire party (did take a few somas) but it worked. Didn't know about thunder reign at the time so it was the only strat I knew that could work.

I look at the comments and the gameplay and realize I used 0% brain playing the game. I had surt because it had the thing that hits more than 1 enemy I needed it for some enemies and thor solely because he is a god dude I'm such a lucky guy. I didn't even know if social links did anything other than leveling them up.

For me, i did this Yukari Akihiko Aigis (Satan, Horus) I used revolution that i had on Horus Then mind charged with Satan and made Aigis spam God's Hand with critical bonus until he got downed, then i would use Black Viper on Death and would deal a lot of damage, Akihiko was to deabilitate Death and Yukari for healing, Aigis was buffing It doesnt need to be Horus just any persona with revolution works

I want to try this on Hard mode, but I think the Reaper can oneshot everyone even at the levels you're at on Hard. I might have to grind Alilat's Heart Item, Divine Pillar, 4 times before I can even stand a chance.

I tried to fight him on Hard and got bodied like 7 times and my party was the same level as yours. Which difficulty is this? o.o Either way, it's safer to wait for him by the stairs since you can attack him on your own terms from there...

I think I've seen debate over whether it amplifies spell damage enough to be worth using. Although, it *can* be good for saving SP, as it would've been in this situation (repeated Ragnarok w/o Spell Master...oh right, because Odin is the first to learn it, and...you get it if you read the description).

Such a small/obscure game that I imagine that it probably went under-the-radar to the general public and/or to people who don’t care about context. I’m sure people had much bigger/better scapegoats at the time like GTA

How come no one uses mind charge on Fes? Does it debuff or something?

One small reason is because Power/Mind Charge in ALL versions of Persona 3, gives you only a x2 increase instead of the usual x2.5 like in most other Megaten games.

@@sarika3689 Mind Charge is only 15 SP while most endgame spells are 30+ SP so it saves you a bit of resources in longer fights (LIKE THIS ONE!!) but if you have Spell Master then yeah, you're right.

@tk I ignored them because there were others links I wanted to work on. I didn’t dislike kenji but was more interested in other links and emperor I had no interest in doing because i found his first two ranks very annoying. Also I would not call emperor one of the most obvious it’s easy to forget

I play the portable version and beat the reaper, without using my persona lol. Didn't have odin, but i bought 24 thunder call and just attack it with weapons. Magic mirror to make the reaper didn't use any magic attacks except megidolaon, ma-jaja and ma-nda, defend myself before the reaper's turn, mediarama, repeat. Bruh, it took me 2 hours but yeah, didn't have to max the emperor social link.

I was playing Persona 3 Portable: I had Odin with Spell Master, Elec Amp and Thunder Reign and Ken, Aigis and Akihiko in the party. To have the team comp work, I needed MC to go first, Ken, Aigis, and Akihiko last. After shocking the Reaper, Ken would do two phys attacks to make him dizzy, Aigis would buff the party and Akihiko would act as support. This needed to be done as when the Reaper gets up, he wastes his turn using Elec Break on Aki, MC or Aigis, who would always have the debuff finish after the Reaper is knocked down. Eventually the Reaper gave up on debuffing and started using Bufudyne on Akihiko, but having Samarecarm on both Aigis and Ken makes for an easy experience. Aki was the only level 67, everyone else was 70+.
