It's pretty crazy the song and the game are already 17 years old, first released in July 2006.

Wow, good edit, although you edited it in a way that synchronizes some scenes well, sometimes it doesn't turn out well when you remember the lyrics of the original song, for example when Mitsuru is riding a motorcycle he said "the moonlight melts" and the scene Well, he is going on a motorcycle, the 3 who are on the train "towards the warm darkness" that's where certain lyrics look good in some but it's a matter of editing okay... Do you also find the original catchy than the new version of the OP remake? Honestly, it has been repeated so many times that it has its touch, but at the moment there are rhythms that go fast and fall and then slow. I don't know if I can explain it. Its manner is good but it doesn't reach the original... but the scenes are very beautiful, it's a shame that it never had it. the original beats it there..

Thank you for your analysis! As you pointed out, I focused on syncing scenes and music to create a natural flow. The idea of matching scenes with lyrics is intriguing and something I hadn't really considered at all lol Personally, I have a strong bias towards 'Burn My Dread.' It resonated deeply, evoking a range of emotions from darkness and sadness to passion and rebellion. The new song, imo maintains a consistently chill vibe, reminiscent of a typical JRPG adventure for a protagonist group, but that's about it.

A remade version of "Burn my Dread" wouldve been 1000x better than a song with generic anime chorus.
