Those are pre-rendered videos? I always thought cutscenes like those were actually rendered, as I can notice graphical differences by lowering quality in the settings And also since they look very sharp, while in the Thieves Den, the showtime attacks are very obviously videos (as they still are in 30FPS and are in lower resolution)

Some of these scenes are movie files in the final game, the first scene where Azathoth transforms, the following scene where Maruki fuses with Adam, and the final scene with the Checkmate, are all movie files in the game, you can notice this if you have a high framerate, since the movies are all 30fps.

@@DeathChaos OH, NOW THAT YOU MENTION IT, IT IS 30FPS I thought my PC was just lagging during the Adam scenes, since there are a lot of particle effects. I found it strange, but just accepted it Though, I do remember all awakening cutscenes + cutscenes before a boss fight looked 60+, so I assume at least those are rendered in real time? Leaving only 3rd semester stuff with videos Any idea it's like this, though? Is it likely the developers wanted to save on system demand by making these videos? After all, they do look a lot better than your average cutscene in the game and there is a lot more action going on
