I honestly don't think this fits into the main story, though. It seems like the main story happens at the end of P5/P5R, while the DLC happens way before that. The $20 price tag is debatable, but I personally think the amount of content and the unique gimmick make it worth it.

Hey I have a question when you beat the dlc mine takes me back to right before the final boss fight but in the main story like with most persona games when you 100% the story it will say “CLEAR DATA” so you can new game plus. And I know once the dlc is beaten you can use akechi and sumire in the main story in ng+ but my question is can I not get the dlc story to say “clear data” so I can new game plus the dlc portion?

After Akechi reveals he knows who the phantom thieves are, but before they try to steal Sae’s heart. It’s the only possible explanation for 1. Yoshizawa being called Kasumi instead of Sumire. 2. Yoshizawa having a Persona and awareness of the metaverse. 3. Akechi being open about his awareness of the metaverse to Joker, and pretending to be an ally. 4. Akechi using the Robin Hood persona and acting calm and polite, rather than using Loki and acting super edgy like in the third semester. 5. Akechi even being alive.

Once you buy the dlc you can access it from main menu. It's a separate story. You can play with them in main story in ng plus I think

I think in order for tactica to take place, maruki won. So this is an alternate reality of the 3rd semester.

Tactica and Repaint Your Heart occur before Sae's Palace, therefore Maruki has not yet created his reality yet. That's why Akechi has his Prince costume instead of the Black Mask. And because Kasumi is surprised that Akechi is part of the Phantom Thieves
