Personally I thought the placeholder was more true to the style of the game, even if it did have a lot of reused animation from the show. Especially the part where the music picks up.

Is it just me or is outside of the characters being in it, does this really not have much of anything to do with Persona? Even Persona 5. Not much of the themes, little to none of the red black and white theme that makes Persona 5 so stylish, kind of just random cuts of the characters. The opening of the game itself outdoes this OP by a long shot
