Since you're still a relatively new channel I'm gonna just give some critique on this (even though I am several months late). A lot of parts of the song do work very nicely, the intro in particular being very good. However once it gets to the verses and chorus there is the issue of counter melodies. Whilst they can work sometimes, because of the particular notes being sung by the vocalist in "Electronica in the Velvet Room", the melody from that song clashes with the upbeat/lighter tone of Get Lucky. In situations like this I would suggest either letting the melodies take turns appearing in the mashup or cutting out the clashing vocals if you really want to keep two counter melodies. Alternatively you can just take the acapella from Get Lucky and cut out the vocals from Electronica in The Velvet Room. The issue is you need specific software for this which is harder (unless you can find the acapella/instrumental already on youtube). Sorry for the essay but I dig what you're doing and I just want to see you improve so you can make some kickass mashups.

+Jamesdesuperweeb No, it's cool. I'm open to any critique so I can hopefully improve as I make more songs. I'm mainly surprised you picked this one to critique since I feel it's the most "perfect" mashup I've made so far. Listening to it again, I can see what you mean by the clashing melodies, though, as you said, I don't have much of a way to remove the vocals in Electronica. Just making the vocals quieter might go a long way to making that part sound better, but I also think removing Electronica vocals entirely from the verse segments would make it not enough of a mashup. This is all stuff to keep in mind for the future. I do think I'll go back and redo a lot of these songs since I keep finding flaws.
