I don't really remember how I discovered this track back in 2019/2020, but I absolutely loved it and I still do to this day. I have no idea about what is the context or what the place is though...

Its the theme of the subway and the theme of the Kama Palace, that is from a girl that got transported from the real world to an ilusionary one where everything is perfect and Magic + Monsters exists, the world in question have 2 weird girls, a good and an evil one The evil one gave a mirror to the girl to get anything she desired in exchange of getting dots ugly on her face with every use The girl wanted recognition, so she wished for everyone in the area to like her art and adore her, and her boyfriend ended in that world for some reason, he wants her to wake up and come back, as the power made her an idiot

So sad most games cant produce actually good soundtracks anymore. The more i think about it some of the greatest composers of this generation prolly already died too. What a shame and a disservice to the world

I wouldn’t say they stop producing good as some modern game songs are amazing but many lack depth It’s like a manequine, it looks great but it’s hollow. Some songs sound great but it’s never has any real ties and emotion to it, it just sounds good

Mainstream and large game titles are just too commercialized imo and their soundtracks reflect that. Good composers still exist on the front of smaller games though, like Hagane and his work on One Step From Eden/Maiden & Spell/Cotton were all hits to me just for an example.
