It always dazzles me: Hwa actually builds meter while slaughtering his opposition. And yet no one plays him.

+Nick Fedorov Part of Hwa's problem is that his wakeup is very weak. His quickest invincible reversal starts up in 7 frames, and his quickest reversal overall starts up in 1 frame but requires meter, is a grounded grab, and is not invincible, so either one can be safe-jumped. In a game where hops and jumps only have 1 frame of time in which you cannot block upon landing (meaning 2-frame meaty safe jumps are possible), command grabs can lead into combos, and combos can very easily take 80+% of a lifebar with the right resources, that's a serious problem. That effectively means that a good Hwa needs to consistently win in the neutral game, convert as optimally and as consistently as possible, and set up as strong of oki as possible. Against many of the top tiers, which have strong wakeups, oki games, and neutral games (Mr. Karate, Kim, EX Iori, EX Kyo), that's not easy to do.

Prem Sinha If the Neo Max hits at point blank range, it activates into the black screen. If it doesn't hit at point blank range, it juggles.

Yeah, they are not in the best position financially and are almost bankrupt and all fans like you can do is shit on them. 2d Sprites are harder and more expensive to make so they HAD to go the 3d route. Do some research.
