I wish my parents put me in more activities when I was younger. If I ever have kids I'm gonna encourage them to try all sorts of sports and stuff. My little cousin has been put in piano lessons, vocal coaching, she drives a race car, she does gymnastics, ice skating, all sorts of crazy stuff. I'm a bit envious, but I love that she has all these opportunities.

Mic Blink I agree with u so many parents force their kids into sports and they get serious injuries so I would just let my kid live their childhood and if they want to do sports I will encourage them

@@smiletwt It's never too late to start figure skating! Although you won't be competing in the olympics, there is still plenty of competitions involving older skaters. But I also agree and disagree with wait, it isnt 2004? I think you should encourage your future kids to give new things a go, but don't force it on them.

Wow! Imagine where she will be with technique and skill in another 6 years. The talent in many venues from swimming to Sopranos is a burgeoning force to be reckoned with world wide. Youth are dominating in any area or discipline you can think of. Quality personality to go along with her skills and obvious determination. Love it.

A stress fracture is in the foot. Most commonly on the heel. I got one from ballet and u have to wear a boot.

So I've had this question for a while and would be grateful if someone answered it. When figure skaters grab the blade on the bottom of their shoe how do they keep from cutting their hand open? Btw great performance.

HikariMaki I dunno if you're being sarcastic, but you grab the part where the blade is bolted to the boot (the place where the metal kinda crosses).

HikariMaki while the skate blades can be sharp, they do not cut my hand open when I grab one for an element. It may hurt, but it doesn't cause an open wound.

We're not skating on knives 🤣 its just a concave blade, my dear.....you grab the inside of the blade that's attached to the boot, and sometimes you do cut yourself, if you grab wrong....but we're so tough, it doesn't matter - like my coach said: THE SHOW GOES ON 💕
