Personal ranking - Baloo

I just realised that there are too few Baloo rankings in my life so I decided to make one.
Sorry for any spelling mistakes and so on, I really should get better at checking for mistakes before I upload videos :P
Special thanks to William Meagher who sent me the versions I couldn't find on my own.

Glad you liked the spanish version so much. He made a great job voicing Baloo and, although this is not one of my favorite Disney movies, I think his Balooo is better than his Thomas O' Malley performance.

I don't really thank people for putting my childhood version high, but I'm happy that the spanish version got the first place. Is not only because I grew up with it, but I feel like he is the one who better got the character, most others portrayed one characteristic better but not all of them. But it seems like Baloo was an overall well dub character( rambling mode off XD)

I think the Spanish version is the best, not because he's technically the best or anything, but because he just makes me happy and I like him :) And yeah, Baloo has some really good voices and there are also a lot of different kinds of voices!

This is actually the first Baloo ranking I've ever seen, loved it, it's so refreshing! Your top is so interesting, and I was really impressed by the Dutch version x3

This is awesome, it's so rare to see rankings with Baloo! A bit sad to see my beloved chilhood version at 23th, but I understand what you didn't like in him. To defend him a bit, I'd say he's very enthousiast and warm and it's great when you're a child, he's like this funny uncle who lets you do the things your parents wouldn't ^^ The comment about the Portuguese singer had me laughing halfway through the video XD The Top10 has really good singers in it, they totally deserved their placements!

I think Baloo is the kind of character that's hard to like in another language because your childhood version is so special to you :) I feel the same about Swedish.

Exactly, I'd say it's the same with the Genie or Timon and Pumba : childhood is too strongly anchored in you to imagine somebody else voicing them ^^

Lilyl exactly! It's different with the princesses because those voices are more about singing beautifully while in characters like Baloo, it's more important to be the character :)

Never cared for the Hindi Baloo ever, except that I love the Hindi lyrics a lot; so funny. XD You're so right about Phil Harris though; his groovy, jazzy style of singing is hard to replicate but barring Norwegian [whom I find too forcible, maybe because the language itself sounds like that]; I loved your entire top 5, I could've shoved Danish a bit higher though; he just sounds so naturally Baloo! :D

I don't know about the Hindi lyrics, but I love the Swedish lyrics, they're very iconic. Pretty much everyone in Sweden knows them :D I think most countries didn't even try to sound like Phil Harris, they just did their own thing. I think the Norwegian language sounds so happy, it's perfect for this song :D And I also kind of love the lyrics in Norwegian. And yeah, Danish is pretty good as well :)

This is the first time I see a Baloo's ranking and it was very very very good! You're top 10 is interesting and I think that we agree in overall! Thank you for the Greek, Tasos isn't a singer so I am not judging his performance but I would prefer Alex Panayi in Baloo's role ;)

I agree with you about the French version, but it's his singing voice, his speaking voice in French (Claude Bertrand) is really good in my opinion !

Ahahah, I've never liked the songs in this movie, not a great fan of the movie either. I never listened to this song in Finnish, but somehow when I heard Baloo's Finnish voice (93 version), it sounded like I had heard it on him before... I don't know how to explain, it's weird XD But yeah, glad you like him :3 This was a very nice ranking btw, somehow very happy and funny - especially some of your comments haha. And the editing is very pretty ^.^
