Thank you Michael for this interesting insight into your musical world. When I was young, Jimi Hendrix was a big idol for me. He could really sing with the guitar and create a whole cosmos of sounds and feelings. Later, when I got more into classical music, I was very impressed by Fischer-Dieskau and the whole world of Lieder. And also by Sergiu Celibidache who was an incredible conductor and who was also very influenced by Zen and meditation. His philosophical ideas about music are also very interesting.

Hi Stefan, Thanks for sharing about your own background! Hendrix was very inspiring to me too. I haven't heard of Celibidache before, but I'll take a look into his work :)

Thanks for sharing this info, Mike! I also started with electric too and then transitioned into classical. It was great to get to know the background to some of your inspiration. I might do something similar on an off-week where I don't know what to upload. Some day I'll have to try out one of your compositions.

Hey Josh, thanks for watching the video! I bet a lot of classical guitarists actually started out on electric (or playing some kind of popular music first). It would be fun to hear more about your musical journey sometime too!
