I just fell in love with your planner! 🤎 I absolutely love how lovely your whole set-up looks / that it so functional at the same time! 🫶🏽AND I HAVE TO MENTION that it's SO NICE FROM YOU to even take the time to add the links to basically all of the (FCC) Inserts you're using PLUS (!) your favorite planning accounts-/ shops! 🤎 I REALLY appreciate that; thanks so much, Courtnee! 🫶🏽 After years of trying out basically EVERY planner-system that exists, I'd actually consider myself as a "bookbound" type of planner person... BUT after seeing that you can use FCC ( sized ) Inserts in so many personal -/medium sized planners even quite comfortably, I HAD TO give rings another try ( by using FCC Inserts ) - imo it's CRAZY how much of a difference it makes to ( only ) have those 1.2cm more in width! 🤎 I thought I'd buy ONE "high quality" planner & got Gillio's Medium Medium Compagna XL in their "black mat croc" leather ( it's gorgeous & looks amazing especially gold rings 🖤✨️ ) - and since I haven't had anything yet in Moterm's "Apricot" leather, it was the perfect excuse to ALSO get their Apricot Personal Luxe 🙃🤭 ( I even like the Moterm one a TINY bit more 🧡 since it's SO NICE to have the flyleaf with some extra pockets AND an extra pen loop! 🧡 I'd love to FINALLY set one of them up... BUT I've put together a personal sized set-up in a Filofax with some older Inserts I've thankfully kept 🤷🏼‍♀️ I've bought everything to "start" like a good printer 🖨 / laminating machine / paper cutter (...) to be able to also trying to make my own dashboards etc. and ESPECIALLY to use all kind PRINTABLES... Since FCC isn't really a thing here in Germany yet, it was AMAZING to see how many FREEBIES you can find online in that size 🤎 So actually, everything would be fine... BUT I REALLY struggle with some things 😔 Like finding a "good" paper for printing Inserts 🖨📃 PLUS: I've got absolutely NO IDEA about how to make some DIY "VISION-BOARDS" with my own-/ and some nice pics from Pinterest for example 😓 I've took some notes 📝 - since you've mentioned things like CANVA ( quite sure that I've heard from it before ) - hopefully it's not THAT difficult to use it 🙏🏼 It'd be so nice to have a free program to make like any collage type of things! 🤎🤎🤎 Idk if you're going to see my comment / if you're going to make it until here 🤭 - I'm SORRY for leaving you SUCH a HUGE comment 🙈 Hopefully you're not going to be shocked if you're going to see it ...🫢 I FEEL LIKE using 100-120g/sm 📃 is a BIT TOO THICK... 🤔 But eventually there's some "good" quality PAPER you've found 📃 / you'd recommend for printing at home 🖨 - I'd be SO GRATEFUL if you could help with that 🙏🏼 I'd DEFINITELY try some "thicker" ones as well (!) - there are just SO MANY only one Amazon that I can't decide which ones to try 🙈 Alright. What an amazing thoughtful comment! For paper, I use 24lb/90gsm (I'll link) but you might want to use the the heavier 28lb for inserts you want to have in your planner all year like trackers or monthly inserts. The free version of Canva allows you access to a lot of features. I pay for the pro version. It's about $15ish USD per month because you can resize anything you make to fit the measurements of your planner. I also use it to make videos/graphics for my book/author IG. There are often codes for a free month of Canva Pro floating around. IIRC when I signed up I got the first month free. You can cancel whenever. I was a bound book planner for years but I've discovered that for right now, a ring planner works the best! Especially since I've discovered FCC is my sweet spot. There are so many great people in the community who offer amazing freebies!
