so happy to hear you react to that wave. its perfection haunts me day and night. i also love that last part you speak of in detail and i believe he was referencing to it at the end of "love is like a dream". i'm moved to tears every time i hear both. the way he finishes that long note too. final nail on the coffin. the flute in this one does indeed go directly to my sadness/emotional centre bc of my eritrean & ethiopian background and wind instruments are mostly used to express sorrow, grief and other such emotions. it's almost like a reflex for me to switch to a sad mood when that sound comes on. this might be why the flute in hello bothered me quite a bit at first but now i find it very fitting and that it conveys perfectly the sentiments the song is trying to communicate. but going back to this one, there's also the way his face looks at the very beginning. the way he stares out in the distance, his eyes fixed like that, it's haunting. finally, i appreciated your thoughts on the hypnotic effects he has on us and how, unaware, we are led through this musical journey in the exact manner he has set out for us. basically what magicians do.. and then there is your reaction at 12:01 onwards 😂. the next step is for you to jump up and down the couch like tom cruise. looking forward to it...

Thank you for this wonderful reaction to my favorite song, by my favorite singer. I appreciated your observations about how the vocal arrangement is crafted to contribute to the emotions of the lyrics. For me, this is perhaps Dimash's most sophisticated musical interpretation on Singer 2017. It's elegant, delicate and yet so powerful. He is the World's Best, and he continues to get even better.

My words are very late in coming, only because I saw your video only today, four months late! Again and again, I marvel at your skillfull, expert analysis. -- Dimash IS GREAT. The audience was the judges (500 of them), and his fellow competitors in "Singer 2017." The operatic part is my favourite, it is Dimash's own composition; it is not part of the originally Japanese song. You cried where I cried, and I did so even if I've watched this video at least a hundred times. --- Yoshiko Pamaguchi (Li Xian Lan) did see China again. Many years later she became the Minister of Culture in Japan and paid an official visit to China. She asked the Chinese hosts about the whereabouts of his husband. She was not given any answer, but she learned that he had been executed for having fraternised and "collaborated" with the enemy.

I think he used masterful stage presence in this performance... in every way. You mentioned some of these things but I wanted to also bring up his physical appearance. From his clothing, to his hat (that's my hat, back off it!), to the delicate ring which I WANT, to even his hair and eyebrows. Looks like his brows have been thinned out a bit and his hair is soft looking... not spiky or with hairspray or gel. All of these things contributed to the soft vulnerability, deep sadness, and intimacy of this beautiful song.

Greetings of Peace Dimash…! And to all the personnel’s who worked with you, and all others who did the translation, produced videos and uploaded it on line. I still browse your music videos from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength you have invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that you have. Indeed it is really a great work. How you were able to develop such a heights of your talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because you sing it by heart, naturally and at your heart’s content with joyful disposition. The discipline, courage, dedication and high ideals in pursuing your singing career to the best of your ability the best you can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope your listeners around the world especially the young will learn something from your optimistic views in pursuing your career, your persistency, courage, creativity and perseverance. Your labors are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to you, to your family and all others who supported you all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the singer and the content of its music. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although all your music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. Actually I have enumerated 10 of your songs with my personal commentary and reflection on it and posted it in KZbin each of it in different phases because it’s quite lengthy my reflection on it. Of course with due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. For all those who read these reflections and commentaries of mine about this piece of music mostly performed by Dimash. If you think it is helpful for you, for your family and friends you can share it to them as you please, and I do really appreciate it. Or maybe you might have a different reflection experience of this music than mine; you can always revisit this music or other music of Dimash on line. Your own personal comments and critics to this commentary and reflection of mine is very much welcome and highly appreciated too. Song of Dimash “AUTUMN STRONG” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song: I like this music because it reminds me to protect, respect, appreciate the unique Foreign Services of people across Cultures) Any foreigner who contributed their services and good things in other countries should be acknowledged and deserve honor and respect. If ever they violated some rules of that country, or make some offenses or rather misbehave sometimes, probably some legal investigation will be done by the legal authorities to clarify things and settle the matters properly and justly in a good manner. We should not be rush to go into judgment without any lawful proceedings. If the case is great and they are found guilty some disciplinary actions will be taken soon for correctional reasons. But if the case and issues is just a minor and little thing, why we should be harsh to them..? Could we not give them some other chances…? It does not mean that we should always tolerate all the time the misbehaviors but rather we should remember that all of us are not perfect as well all the times; we commit mistakes every now and then. Remember the Golden Rule… I believed that it is not also easy for them all the way through living, working and serving in other countries where everything they have to adjust themselves, I supposed they also try their best to do good and give their utmost quality service to the place where they are. Indeed we should be grateful to them for whatever good contribution they have to the society. I believed that peoples change when we show them our love and leads them towards goodness and truth without being harsh to them, this is the real fact and irony of it, that the more we are cruel or harsh to people seems the more they are resistance to change. Many times because of human weakness, even if the person just commit a little bit of offense seems we forgot everything good they have done, and we just see and focus only and overpower by the little mistake that they did. If we let anger prevail in our hearts surely we become blinded to see the good deeds in people. And if this behavior continues to settle in our hearts how painful it is, we cause in other people’s hearts. Once again, thank you for your music and service to us. Rest assured of my support with you. God Bless..!. With Gratitude, Ester Rabi, Philippines

Don't worry really: it is really worth it to listen to your comments, precise, sober, and how did you make us understand, chosen among many other elements that come to your ear as a singer and vocal coach ... This song, its words, its story, in the performance of Dimasch are an absolute masterpiece !!! And it's nice to see among the listeners the emotion for all this, and above all because Dimasch chose it and sang it in the language of the country of which he was a guest !!! This is class and humility at the same time !!! ... All the best to you!!! F. from Italy ...

12:21 -- The top of that first run where it goes up, fades out then back in as it falls back down... this gives me two different images. The one that really gives me a physical sensation is the image/feeling of hitting the top of a loop on a roller coaster. It goes into the loop strong, fast. When it gets to the pinnacle of the loop, however, it almost seems to "catch" as you get some lovely freefall sensation for just a second before it then starts to zoom downward. The other thing it reminds me of is calligraphy where you hold the nib at 45 degree angle which creates these lines that are thicker in some places, thinner than others. But the roller coaster one actually causes that freefall sensation.
