Praise Jesus jimmy I had a t.I.a stroke and it was a small stroke but it made me open my eyes And so far I have lost 60 pounds and got my blood pressure under control and I just want to tell you you and Chris are an inspiration to me and many more I'm sure and I used to watch your fishing shows as a kid and still do as an adult so. Jimmy Im still praying for you both I can tell you prayers work or I wouldnt be here Ive defied death 3 times this yr since May . I rolled my lawn tractor over a hill and broke my neck & 2 ribs then a couple months later I got a massive blood clot that breached both lungs couldnt breathe then out of the hospital 5 days I developed ganggreen In my scrotum still recovery from it . I WAS told when I was in ICU they didnt think I was gonna make it but I had lots of prayer I feel brought me thru it all but couldve died 3 times . I will keep you both in my prayers cause they work God Bless Chris & Jimmie

You have every right to say what you do Jimmy. Some people are so full of just insensitivity. Everyone has a right to their opinion but sometimes people need to just move on. And doctors told my husband he wouldn't survive cancer over 30 years ago. Not only did he survive that 2nd cancer but he has survived a 3 cancer of the colon(10 years now). GOD knows our timing. Some doctors also need a bedside manner etiquette. Your family has given Chris so much love. And all with your strong FAITH in our LORD. Keep that smile going Jimmy. GOD is right their chuckling. This has been so inspiring in a time when our world needs to see the love of two amazing people. My SIL and his mom took his dad to Mexico for stem cell IV for his ALS. We need more of this in the US where people can afford it.

Never give up. I had 3 TIAs and a stroke 11 years ago. I didn’t really start getting better till year 3. Before that I basically sat in a chair all day. I love to read but reading then over stimulated me. Even going to get my hair cut was hard bc of the lady (my good friend) just talked so much I would start to shut down emotionally. My brain actually hurt when I was over stimulated. I couldn’t remember if I ate that day or fed the dog. About yr 3-4 my brain started reconnecting around the bad areas. It sounds weird but our brains can do that. Today, I can do almost anything I want. I even ride my two wheeler Harley. Yes I have some residue problems and struggles and I’m ok with that. God is good. He has healed me in so many ways.

I love when God proves doctors wrong. But what irritates me more are the rude people. The cause of a stroke is immaterial. What is important is the result of the stroke. To blame a stroke on a shot or anything else, while the family is dealing with a stroke victim is sinful. People need to be sensitive. I remember so well my father’s stroke, how much it hurt the family, what it did to my mother. God choose to spare him. He never regained his right arm or complete speech but he never lost his personality, his great sense of humor. He lived 11 years after his stroke. He was promoted to Glory 18 years ago and I still miss him. Sorry about the ramble. He died on October 11 and this is so difficult time. I am praying for Chris, you and your family. Love you.

I feel the same way you do. I am inspired by them to keep hope alive for finding my soulmate or someone who I can love into becoming my soulmate. I've been in a pretty dark period when it comes to my own needs for love and companionship after my marriage dissolved. I am just so grateful for my 2 loving, beautiful children who are here with me, loving me every day. When I put my little girl to bed she says to me every single night "best daddy in the world, couldn't ask for one better". Those kinds of things really help get me through because it's been like 4 years now since we separated and that is a long time when I have so much love to give to the right person. I hope you have some family to help get you through the bad times, but regardless of that, you hang in there. Don't ever give up hope of that person coming into your life because they could be right around the next corner.
