I really don't understand why we don't accept pur failure and work more, form policies to improve ourrself. Everyone trying to save and make happy government. We have unemployment issue, poverty, still we are unable to feed everyone. Government rejection so many report but it is fact.

What a coincidence, just now at my friends home i am, someone knocked at door i paused the video at vicious cycle and 24 yr old poor servant said he needs 500rs for treatment his sick child ! Could it be ethically right to say why produce when don't have resources to give upbringing... Is it lack of family planning education or societal pressure or failure of state or apathy of middle n upper class or all combined?

I think that accessibility and management of resources play a crucial role in process. Govt. hospitals are made to provide free health facilities to poor section of society, but can they really access it at the time of need immediately? The distance, long queue, time slab etc. all this aspects do matter, specially in case of non-emergency treatments, there lies limitations of state bcz it's no match to the robust mechanism provided by private institutions (ofcourse bcz they are paid directly by the people). However, management of resources at household level of that person will take into questions of his/her monthly wages, budget of that house and the number of family members dependent on that wages(ofcourse 1 or 2 children are fine, but having 3-4 children for the sake of having one male child is something problematic, specially when one knows they can't afford it.)

Yeah managment of resources is up to mark।।। But that's no excuse for the lack of adequate resources and facilities also।।। Lower class PPL cant provide basic services to themselves let alone children ३ or १।।। Bigger que is when we can't ensure decent upbringing to child either on our own or state's doles in welfaraistic state, is it ethical and prudent to go for producing babies even ? Only to increase the miseries ? Is it lack of sex education, family planning n contraception knowledge or the family and societal presure to produce child in order to sustain lineage and please parents who are eager to rock pota poti in cradle sorry pota only...thanks to patriarchal mindset। Que is more philosophical here eho is responsible if child doesn't get her basic human rights and children rights excercised ??? Their ostensible well wisher Parents , ostensibly welfaristic n democratic state , or the society??

@@Thepatriotpodcast24 It revolves around the question why do we really need children at all? umm.. I don't think we as a society are matured enough to grasp the concept that "it is okay" to not have children. Even for the most educated sections in India, it is quite radical, they can have 1 child, but they WILL have 1 child (whether girl or boy), the concept is to have to have a child, even a single would suffice. For poor people, it's much more radical to not have children, bcz they are "assets" of the family, they will take care of them later in their lives. Moreover, not having children bcz someone is poor is itself an ethical question. It will vanish poors, not poverty. Govt. can't feed poors for long time, it has to make infrastructure affordable for them. For eg. building govt. schools where education, mid-day meal, free books, rupees for uniforms and stationary are provided; but that's not enough to end the vicious cycle, bcz even after schooling they aren't skilled in things which will provide them better standard of living. No one can get a good job after completing 12th or even after graduation, many people are still unemployed. Education, in addition to skilling on which they can make a better living by themselves might be a solution. What difference will it make to make parents/society/ govt. responsible, ultimately those who are suffering are suffering, whoever wants to take responsibility, is doing things whether govt. policies, NGOs involved, parents who are doing everything to give their children a better life; everything is connected, one cannot blame one element responsible, it is the collective effort which will make a difference.

@@aakankshamishra864 yeah agreed on children part and poverty।।।well brought out।।। But govt actually can atleast open a school for all । It has resources। If not। Then tax rich n redistribute the resources। Oxfam sayys १ pc holding ४० pc of wealth। १० pc ७० pc।।। Moreover the corp tax in India is one of lowest।।। Thus both mobimilisation of resources based on principle of distributive justice of John rowl and prudent n ethical managment ensuring intended gets the benefits is needed for realising अन्त्योदय n Bharat as vishwa guru।।। Anyways harsh mander 's looking away : inequality and arundhati roys cessation of middle class are good perspective to look at issue from ethical perspective।।।। They say we hv internalised apathy towards homeless n impoverished PPL।।।। Althuser ' ideological state apparatus is also helpful to understand the issue।।।। I'm drawn more towards left views these days bcz these issue are sidelined in right discourse।।।। Atleast they bring them up।।। Will also read communist manifesto soon it's a small book। Name not who wrote I'll be called the names😅
