I thought they just couldn't say the name of their *own8 holders? That's what they said that time in the Miracle Box. The show has broken that rule a couple of times since when Tikki and Plagg talk to eachother which I like to justify to myself with the fact that it was only after both had learned the other's holder (that time in the goo container) so now they wouldn't be revealing anything.
