This is an interview conducted by Phayul’s Tenzin Lekdhen with Dawa Lokyitsang, one of the key authors of Lhakar Diaries, a blog dedicated to Lhakar, or, "White Wednesday," a non-cooperation movement in Tibet based on non-violent strategy. Dawa is also a PhD. candidate in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, US.
Dawa talks about the genesis of the Lhakar movement, its viability, connection with exile Tibetans, and the role of Lhakar diaries against the larger backdrop of the movement
