Lamborghini are one of the most iconic and recognisable luxury car manufacturers in the world. So why aren't they racing in Formula 1? The history of Lamborghini shows that the company has never fully committed to a Formula 1 project but, they don't really need to. With their main competitor Ferrari having a long and successful history in Formula 1, Lamborghini found different way to build their allure and reputation to stand alongside the giants of the industry. Don't be so dramatic. The reason is quite simple. Lamborghini belongs to VW. They already have a team in F1 with Audi from 2026. Plus Porsche in the WEC and Formula E. Lamborghini has also been successful in GT sport for years and has recently started racing with its own hypercar. They are busy enough.

Modern Lamborhinis basically are Audis, at least the V10 models anyway. As you said, the Lamborghini brand stands to gain little from an F1 entry, unlike Audi. And it would make absolutely no sense for Lamborghini to enter the sport now, even if Audi weren't, given that the engine regs specify V6 engines. Lamborghini is known mostly for their V12 engines. A V6 doesn't fit their image, and the company has even stated exactly that.

Interesting thing to note is the Lamborghini Temerario is releasing next year with a hybrid twin turbo 4.0 v8 and will rev to 10,000 rpm. V6 may very well be their future at some point for their production cars

The reason Toyota joined F1 was cuz they thought if Honda can they can to. But being the largest auto industry in the world they thought their corporate Toyota way would make them F1 champion and they failed with the largest budget. I heard podcast F1 of Jarno Trulli he said Toyota had budget to win multiple F1 titles but they never listened to the engineers or the drivers nor considered their opinion the Toyota headqurater in Japan operated its F1 team as a typical road car business with their Toyota way snd thats what they failed

You missed a critical point here. Lamborghini participtes in Enduraces races like FIA WEC or GT championships. It makes sense, because it's a direct exhibition of their sports cars. Plus, Endurance racing has become more popular in recent years and is family friendly, where crowds can witness their vehicles and garages up close. It is a competition they can afford. A lot of privateer or customer teams race their cars in WEC series. F1 takes incredible amount of money and commitment to stay; a very exclusive motorsport.

The lack of interest not to have the Lamborghini brand in F1 has nothing to do with Lambo, it has everything to do with the VW Audi Group. I think you're forgetting Lambo is VW's brand in WEC now, and Porsche is representing VW in Formula E. Audi has no history in F1 so it's VW's perfect brand for F1. Ferrari is part of Stellantis now BTW, see what I mean.

I’ll be honest I’m not watching this video because I already know that answer. Lambo is 2nd fanciest VW after Bugatti let’s be honest. They’re all owned by VW Auto Group including the forthcoming coming manufacturer: Audi. Lamborghini was in f1 for a time it was during the 92-93 season and later McLaren we’re close to have a deal with them for engines in 92 but the deal fell through and McLaren got purgot engines but a car was built and tested by senna and Mika it still works to this day

Thing is; the engine had a tendency to break down. It consumed a lot of fuel and was heavy as well. Piquet jumped off Lotus in 1990 because of that.

Why would they go to f1 when they have already have a prototype hypercar in WEC and IMSA. Furthermore they also have one of the most popular GT3 programs in the world and all that for like a fraction of whats needed to run an f1 team. And they don't even have to run the GT and Prototype teams out of pocket. Lambo instead just have privateer teams run their cars and they'll provide technical support.

Because they dont HAVE to be necessarily 'beautiful' or 'elegant and pretty', thats not their design language (excluding Miura and 350/400 gt). Their design language is supposed to be bold aggressive masculine looking machines, and for what they have in their palette they execute it damn well for the most part.
