May i know what time of the year did you visit the Amazon forest? was this guided tour provided by your accomodation (ie.TAMBOPATA RESEARCH CENTER)? Thanks
@AdventureswithPinnyАй бұрын
Hi, great questions! We visited the Amazon during the very end of May. The guided tours were provided by our ecolodge (Tambopata Research Center) as an all-inclusive experience, which is why it is a bit pricey but we felt it was totally worth the price for the wonderful experience that we had. Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks for watching!

Can u suggest any product for insects to not to bite us Amazon river r cusco
@AdventureswithPinny6 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching! We personally brought a can of "OFF! Deep Woods" in the 2.5oz travel size which worked very well for us (amzn.to/3I6qjA1). I would also recommend wearing long pants and long sleeves even though it is hot and humid. You can get sweat wicking, breathable fabrics, but try to keep your skin covered as much as possible from mosquitos. I hope this helps!

Would you suggest we visit Tambopata for 2 nights or 3 nights?
@AdventureswithPinny10 ай бұрын
Hi! If you are able to, I would highly suggest staying in Tambopata for 3 nights since this will give you 2 full days to explore the rainforest. Then you would have enough time to do all of the highlights - trekking through the jungle, river cruise, and visiting the macaw clay lick. With only 1 full day you probably would not get to do all of these things and would need to choose between them. I hope this helps!

How much budget is needed for such a trip?
@moritzliska46298 ай бұрын
Around 200$
@AdventureswithPinny8 ай бұрын
Hi, good question! To be honest it was not a cheap trip. 😅 This trip cost us about $4000 USD per person. The main costs for us were definitely the flights - from the US to Lima cost about $1000pp then $300pp for the inter-country flights. The all-inclusive in the Amazon was ~$1400pp total for 3 nights. The Inca Trail was $800pp. The rest was our hotels in Cusco and Lima. You could definitely do this trip much cheaper by 1. watching for flight deals (we did not choose cheap flights because it had to fit around our work schedule) and 2. choosing cheaper hotels. Especially for the Amazon if you are willing to be outside the National Reserve there are many great options of hotels for a much cheaper cost. It has been a dream trip of mine for many years so we made it a priority to save for it. I hope that this helps. Thank you for watching!

I was just gonna say I've looked into this for about a year depending what trip you take it can be 2200 to 4000 and in my opinion if your gonna do it do it right go with 4000 and get a good guide I'm taking 6,000 in total when I go and keep in mind it's once in a life time trip but let's say you meet ppl there witch means you could probably do it way cheaper the next time cause you might not have to go with a guide and personaly if you really wanna do it go with paul rosolie guide service there 4,000 out the door
