Wish they never would have brought it back to be honest. Football first, tactics second is how it should be. Instead, it's tactics first and football second, proof is in the pudding with the useless attack/def mentality adjustments. Instead of bringing this in, they should go back to utilizing the Teamwork and Chemistry ratings of old. Those allowed players to be more individualized, and their adherence to tactics varying. Instead, with this att/def level, you now see a very robotic play from the CPU - and teammate AI. This is more obvious on Top Player and Superstar, but it's impact has a strong possibly of hurting a very solid game overall.

You just need to press a button 2 times very quickly. One can do that in like 2 seconds, I think it's very doable even online...

yes it is but 2 sec can cause a counter, 2 sec dlay of switching your def can cause danger, but it is possible.

Wondering what's the difference between attack / defense mentality vs tactics Offense few , medium, low players on attack and defense few , medium , many players ?

once you change mentality it will overwrite your attacking and defensive instruction settings.

PESEP, when you change mentality, do you mean when its all the way red up for offense and all the way down for defense, it will overwrite ? What if its at medium green at kickoff before game starts, and i only go up 1 level but not all the way up, does that overwrite my offense tactics ? The other question i had is if i do change my mentality and then go back to medium, will my offense defense tactics come back or are they overwritten for good ?

I think the mentality and the tactic and such should be hidden from your opponent. If you indicate them to go foward with many men, thenopposition shouldnt be able to see this.

I've played this game a lot now. I really don't like the body contact on this game. everything else is perfect. my rating on pes 2016 was top 50 for ps4 and with this new body balance i doubt i could. i use Roma every game and madrid's defence is overpowered same with bayern just imagine them on this game -.-

Yeah the AI gets messy because they keep changing the mentality everytime they had and lose the ball. Only flamengo doesnt do that

SEP,please send a mail to Konami with fixing the mode game play. More people is boring in forums comments. Fix problem with type R2 shoot-more curves we needed,and when attaking more players FW ,SS, RWF,LWF not go in front,they stay in my half pitch. U know where u must the e-mail .Maybe helps all.Thanks.
