I have been rubbish at free kicks but i am always rushing but i have just received a free kick about 30 yards out and i paused it and thought 'this time i need to find out what i need to do' i went to Google with key words and your KZbin channel popped up....... Hey, there is a change in free kick in latest datapack update. In previous datapack, the camera of the free kick doesn't change before and after kicking the ball. It changes only after missing or scoring goal. But in the latest update, as soon as you kick, the camera quickly changes to ur main gameplay camera angle. Now curling the ball can be little tricky.

I have a variation on the curling + trivela free kicks. Say you have a right-footed FK-taker, if you move your left-stick to bodem-left, it will generate more spin and dip. If you put your stick on top-left, then there will be less spin and more power. Same with trivela, except ofc. its on the right instead of left.

Knuckle ball is actually the easiest freekick for me. It's the wrong footed curve shots that are harded for me. Usually I'll have a player shooting opposite his right foot (right foot shooting to left corner And left foot shooting to right corner) but when the player I need is injured it is a challenge for me. By the way, the way I handle knuckles is easy. I anticipate to shoot 50-60% power. Then I hit it about half of that, then I tap again for the remaining power, just making sure I don't go above 50-60%.

there is no aiming guide (red cross) in-game. he added this in editing. To aim accurately, use the halfway line on your mini radar as a guide along with the ball and you're straight. The height and trajectory of the FK is down to the shot power and type of FK (normal, LS up or LS down) you can get a feel for this doing the tutorial over and over again and noting the shot power % in this video
