PES 5 made the defensive AI harder, thus it was harder to score and the gamplay was slower paced, this is why people say its more a simulation. While 6 mixed the gameplay up, faster paced and was easier to score.

Best soccer games ever! I prefer PES 5 because in my opinion was more simulative. I think the best result ever obtained, considering period and platform capabilities! I still remember that time with lot of nostalgia

PES5 es mejor, tenía mejor ritmo, era más lento, y con las defensas más duras. PES6 es bueno, pero solo acelero y le quito dificultad al PES5.
