Well, pes ec standalone might not impress you much (has enough potential though) but the fact that its campus happens with main pes and companies have no idea about which kid comes from which branch is s huge plus point. Coming to the ec campus itself, I agree it has been behind schedule in getting ready with facilities which is s deterrent but otherwise it had a big ground, a cricket ground and lot of open space to facilitate thriving camps life (if all at the college administration brings all genders together in same campus). Today, girls hostel is separate outside campus. Very backdated mentality

Companies will only know you are a PES University student nothing more than that. I've talked to a guy from EC campus final year CSE. He told me about all this.

I'm currently working on a research at EC campus at PES University which is funded by SRC ( Semiconductor Reasearch Corporation ) And the EC campus is the only private university in India to have recieved the prestigious SRC fund after Anna University in Chennai. Only the IITs before this have been selected for this fund. We're the first ones to have recieved the fund in PES. And there are a couple of other good research projects going on at CHIPS ( research lab in EC campus )
